What Does a Labiaplasty Procedure Involve?

Using discrete incision techniques and dissolvable sutures a labiaplasty can be completed in 1.5 hours using local anesthesia, although general anesthesia is an option. After numbing the area, the excess tissues are gently removed, and the incisions are then delicately closed.

What is Recovery Like?

Labiaplasty requires minimal downtime compared to other surgical procedures. As with any surgery, bruising and swelling are common and will subside over a few days post op.
