David Parkins, MD, Anesthesiologist
Dr. David Parkins is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He studied medicine and obtained his MD at University of Illinois, College of Medicine. He completed his anesthesiology residency program at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. He has practiced anesthesiology since that time, covering a broad range of specialties. He has a special interest in performing nerve blocks that allow patients to recover from anesthesia more quickly and have less pain overall. He is the director and primary provider of anesthesia at Parkins Plastic Surgery.
Monica Moser, Registered Nurse
Monica Moser is an experienced registered nurse of 25 years with BLS/ACLS certification. She has been a peri-operative nurse for 17 of those years, working with patients of all ages. She is competent in a wide variety of peri-operative specialties. However, she came to specialize in plastic surgery exclusively over the past five years. She enjoys being a plastic surgery nurse, providing care in all three phases of the surgical patient: pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative. She loves being part of the surgical team supporting a cosmetic change that will have a positive impact on a patient’s self-esteem and allow him or her to live a more happy and healthy life.
Nichole, Nurse Injector
Nichole embraces her role as both Nurse Injector and Operative Nurse at Parkins Plastic Surgery. Nichole is a highly skilled registered nurse, who graduated with her BSN from Alverno College in 2011. In addition to her prior experience with medical aesthetics and pre/post-operative care, Nichole also has BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications and 10 years of experience in Emergency Medicine/Critical Care. Nichole is excited to welcome and develop trusting relationships with her patients. She prides herself on listening to each patient’s individual goals and expectations to develop a safe and aesthetically pleasing treatment plan to help clients look and feel more confident!
Sarah Ridderbush, Registered Nurse
Sarah is Dr. Parkins’s nurse both in the operating room and in the clinic. She has over a decade of experience as a Surgical Technologist and Surgical First Assistant. Sarah will be part of your journey with Parkins Plastic Surgery every step of the way! From your pre-operative appointment, to surgery, to your postoperative follow ups, Sarah takes pride in providing you with compassionate and knowledgeable care. When she isn’t working Sarah loves to cook, hike, exercise, and knit. She especially loves to spend time outdoors with her husband, son and 2 dogs.
McKendra Brown, Marketing Specialist & Administrative Assistant
McKendra is our marketing specialist and administrative assistant. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in journalism with an emphasis on advertising paired with a marketing minor from UW-Whitewater in May of 2021. She was a member of UWW’s chapter of the American Marketing Association where she worked with clients on their digital and social media marketing goals as well as event planning. She loves copywriting and enjoys practicing her creative design skills. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her friends and family, go to the gym, and ride her motorcycle.
Loree Mueller, Front Desk
Loree is one of our friendly faces at the front desk that brings over 20 years of experience from a Women’s Health reception and clinical setting. From the time you call to the time you leave the practice, she is very dedicated to giving our patients the ultimate level of excellence. Loree is an integral part of helping our office run smoothly and is committed to making our patients feel comfortable. In her free time, she loves spending time with her two grown children, fishing, getting muddy on the UTV trails, and walking her two dogs, Baylee and Mazie.
Nicole Soika, Front Desk
Nicole is one of our members at our front desk and has over five years of customer service experience. Nicole graduated from UW-Whitewater in 2018 with a degree in Communications and a minor in Leadership and Military Science. After graduating college, she began developing her customer service skills in the hospital and clinic setting, working with the Women’s Health Department. She wants every person who walks through the door of Parkins Plastic Surgery to feel valued and informed from start to finish. Never hesitate to ask her questions or go to her to get the information you need! In her free time, Nicole enjoys playing soccer, spending time with her family and their golden doodle Ollie, going to trivia, and eating ice cream!
